Tyre training

Get in shape or training for winter expedition – tyre training has become more and more popular in recent years. It originates from training for winter expeditions, but has grown into a exercise form. This form of exercise strengthens the muscles throughout the body and is suitable for people of all ages. The training is widely used among expedition people who train for longer trips with pulk and sleds. But, it is also an ideal everyday training for anyone who wants to lose weight and/or can not run due to problems with knees, back or pelvis. When using a good drawstring, there is little strain on the joints. Tyre training is therefore suitable for anyone who needs to exeercise more gently.

Tyre pulling is an ideal prep for mountain hikes, long trips with pulk and sleds, cross-country skiing, cycling and other physically demanding activities. It is actually like hiking to the top of a mountain, only on a flat field; if you can pull two or three tires a couple of hours, then you can accomplish a lot of other things too!
